More Summer Fun

It garage sale season!  My favorite thing!  We found this great toy at a sale for only $1.  It is an aircraft carrier that was fully functional--it makes sound effects and everything.  What a deal!

A favorite tradition is the Old Shawnee Days Parade.  This year was beautiful.  Not too hot.

 Greg went to scout camp for the first time.  They had a family night mid-week and we got to have a look around.  Joe and Lydia had to try some of the obstacle course.  Greg did great and I think is looking forward to going back next year.  I think Joe might go too.

 We also did Vacation Church School at Debbie's church.  This is the third year we have done it there and the kids love it.  Along with seeing old friends, there is always the benefit of Grandma being the VCS organizer and the kids get to bring home all the extra stuff at the end of the week.
