So proud of Ira. He worked so hard this year in band. Besides having natural musical talent, he put so much effort into marching band, pep band, and concert band. It paid off too because he was named the male freshman band student of the year--a high honor to be sure.

I've said this elsewhere but I will say it again, music programs are such a hugely important part of a student's educational experience. Mr. Reed and Ms. Fillingham have given such a big part of themselves to be positive influences in these kids' lives. It has helped Ira so much this year. He went into high school belonging to a family. It has made all the difference.
